Echo this, I just discovered that Debian's vips lacks "smartcrop", and I was surprised to see how behind the package version is. Laszlo, are you still maintaining vips? you did a recent upload but only for a CVE fix and 8.5 was already out at that time. I see it's neither in team maintenance nor are you marked LowNMU.
