Package: clamav-milter Version: 0.100.1+dfsg-1 Severity: minor Dear Maintainer,
the current version of clamav-milter in Debian Buster is unable to use an inet6 socket. This worked in previous Debian versions like a charm. Migrated config file from Debian Jessie: > MilterSocket inet6:12345@localhost Error from clamav-milter: > systemd[1]: Starting LSB: ClamAV virus milter... > clamav-milter: ClamAV: Unknown host name localhost > clamav-milter: ClamAV: Unable to create listening socket on conn > inet6:12345@localhost > clamav-milter[27638]: Starting Sendmail milter plugin for ClamAV: > clamav-milterERROR: Failed to create socket inet6:12345@localhost And yes, there's an IPv6 entry for localhost in /etc/hosts! :-) Current workaround: Use "inet" for an IPv4-only listener. -- Regards, Christian
