Package: gxine
Version: 0.5.4-0.1
Followup-For: Bug #355906

Hi.

Thanks for sending the solution of how to get rid of the setup wizard.
There's one other thing about it, it fails to see the cdrom device.
It can see the dvd though, but on my laptop it is the same device.
I even disabled the dvd in the config, thinking that two links pointing
to one device might cause the problem - nope. I've even tried with
setting the cdrom directly as /dev/hdc - still nothing.

Both of the aliases exist and are readable by group cdrom.

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ ls -la /dev/cdrom /dev/dvd /dev/hdc
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root      3 2006-03-07 22:19 /dev/cdrom -> hdc
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root      3 2006-03-07 22:19 /dev/dvd -> hdc
brw-rw---- 1 root cdrom 22, 0 2006-03-07 22:19 /dev/hdc

The best part is that I can actually listen to audio CDs with gxine.
