Package: global Version: 6.6.2-3 Severity: normal gtags supports integration with pygments via a plugin to generate tags of identifiers and references. R is one of the languages supported via pygments.
The pygments integration doesn't seem to generate tags when used with R source repos. Although it creates the G* files, they don't contain any tags for the sources. The same mechanism (pygments plugins) works for Ruby (another language supported by pygments). This was verified by following the example provided in the "Usage" section at https://github.com/yoshizow/global-pygments-plugin.
