Package: telnet
Version: 0.17-41
After an upgrade from jessie to stretch, and moving my jessie .telnetrc
file into my homedir, I noticed that it was no longer parsed correctly.
# cat .telnetrc
172.16.1.1
mode char
Yet stretch's version of telnet does not switch to character mode.
A bit of digging on Google shows this:

I suspect the same bug exists for stretch's .telnetrc parsing.
I couldn't find the package repo or homepage on
https://packages.debian.org/source/stretch/netkit-telnet
or anything central repo 'for all' via Google, so I'm not sure if everyone
is just maintaining everything on their own?
