Package: gs-gpl Version: 8.01-5 Severity: normal When gs is used to print PostScript to epson stylus color 640 the printer prints a white page.
The head of the printer move on all the line width and on all the page length but prints nothing. It does this even if the page is not full of text. Using other upp files (stc600p.upp, ...) does not correct the problem. I tried to replace "uniprint" with the old devices for epson stylus without success (not the same effects on the printer). I solved my problem by installing "gs-afpl" -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-2-686 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages gs-gpl depends on: ii gs-common 0.3.6-0.1 Common files for different Ghostsc ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgimpprint1 4.2.7-5 The Gimp-Print printer driver libr ii libice6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libjpeg62 6b-9 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libpaper1 1.1.14-3 Library for handling paper charact ii libpng12-0 1.2.8rel-1 PNG library - runtime ii libsm6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 X Window System Session Management ii libx11-6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 X Window System protocol client li ii libxext6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 X Window System miscellaneous exte ii libxt6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 X Toolkit Intrinsics ii xlibs 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 X Keyboard Extension (XKB) configu ii zlib1g 1:1.2.2-3 compression library - runtime -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
