Please stop using dh_gconf. We intend to remove it during the Bullseye cycle. See https://bugs.debian.org/908845 . Since gwaei doesn't ship any gconf schemas, it's not being used anyway. I recommend converting your debian/rules to the simple "dh7 style" rules. That will handle a lot of things automatically for you without you missing anything or adding rules that shouldn't be there.
