I am not able to reproduce this issue with BibleTime 2.10.1-3+b1. This bug report can probably be closed now. The "Personal" commentary can be edited as follows: 1. Open the Bookshelf Manager, select the "Crosswire" source, expand "Commentaries", expand "English", and install the "Personal" commentary 2. From the Bookshelf pane, expand "Commentaries", expand "English", right-click "Personal", select **Edit**, and click **Plain text** And this bug was triggered by following these additional steps (from the original bug report): 3. Open a bible module also 4. Enable the "synchronize" option on the toolbar of the editor window 5. In the bible window, go to eg. Gen1:1 (editor window follows) 6. In the editor window, modify the entry ("this is Gen1:1"); do not save 7. In the bible window, switch to Gen1:2 8. Accept the dialog to save changed text ("Yes") 9. Notice that the commentary was saved to Gen1:2 instead of Gen1:1; if any commentary previously existed in Gen1:2, it is now lost
