Your checkboxes look different than the default theme. Did you install
a different theme?
This is the default Firefox theme. (But I guess my GTK theme is
different than yours.)
Are there any other addons installed?
Disabling the other addons didn't make any difference.
I tried purging Firefox's cache (rm -rf ~/.cache/mozilla/), and this
fixed the bug. Go figure...
