After building this package in buster, I see that the build log contains things like this: make[4]: Entering directory '/<<PKGBUILDDIR>>/deps/cowboy' DEP ci.erlang.mk /bin/sh: 1: git: not found /bin/sh: 1: cd: can't cd to /<<PKGBUILDDIR>>/deps/ci.erlang.mk This seems wrong to me on several levels, for example: Does the package try to access the Internet if git is present? (Packages should not access the Internet during build). Does the package build the same regardless of git being present or not? (Packages should be reproducible). Does the package test for Makefile errors and stops when there is one? (See Policy 4.6. Error trapping in Makefiles). Not setting severity, but I hope you see the problem. Thanks.
