[...] Just some quick notes, not that I'm strongly opposed against usrmerge or dislike the idea in general but this is somehow odd. First of all why is this serious now? I know there is an ongoing discussion on debian-devel about usrmerge but when was it decided to file RC bugs and make this release-critical? I suppose opencv will work perfectly fine with the traditional file system layout? In any case it is not a very good idea to diverge from upstream or to carry yet another patch. I wonder why this hasn't been changed already because Fedora moved to this scheme already and they should have noticed that too. So far Markus
