Upstream is now at 3.5.0, and that's even a couple months old now. This package hasn't seen an upload for 2 years now despite an active upstream, and looks abandoned. Maybe it should be orphaned? I'd start a salvaging process[1], but I don't think I have the time to take care of it on a permanent basis. Would be happy to help and/or sponsor someone that would feel like doing that, however!
