Package: runit
Version: 2.1.2-19
Severity: wishlist

Runit ships 'runsvchdir', meant to change the service directory of 'runsvdir'.
However
this require some change in stage 2 script, and also /etc/service should become
a
symlink to /etc/runit/runsvdir/current, which itself is a symlink to a service
directory.

The issue, with a proposed soluton, was already discussed in bug #912937
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=912937
Keeping this bug as a reminder for future development.
