Dear Rob, To add to this bug report: firstly, a big thanks for releasing Emacs 26 as a Debian package--I've been looking forward to this for quite a while.
Secondly, if the dependencies could be changed, that would be appreciated: apart from "normal" systems, I run Emacs (emacs-nox) in a chroot build environment without any MTA, and the new dependencies add 62MB... not counting the bother of having exim4-daemon-light and cron installed in a chroot. By the way, I don't know if I need to create a new bug report, but emacs-nox 1:26.1+1-2 is 24.4MB larger than the previous version, 1:25.2+1-11. Is there that much difference between the two versions, or has something been included in the package by accident?
