Had some time for some manual tweaking on this today, so on a whim I wanted to
see if the latest firmware from the kernel git repo worked.

Currently with:
a) the current bluetooth firmware from firmware-iwlwifi 20180518-1
b) the latest iwlwifi-8265-36.ucode from the kernel git (36.9f0a2d68.0
according to dmesg)

...I can confirm that the bluetooth firmware loads and the adapter works
correctly. With the version included in 20180825+dfsg-1 (36.e91976c0.0
according to the changelog), the bluetooth firmware fails to load as per my
original report.

At the moment I've no idea which of the firmware files inside
/lib/firmware/intel correspond to the bluetooth firmware for this chip so I've
left those alone for the time being.
