Package: cppcheck-gui Version: 1.76.1-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
when trying to create a new project file, cppcheck-gui complains about a missing std.cfg file, and that my installation is broken and that I should point it manually at the std.cfg file using the --data-dir option. When I try to do so via (using dpkg -S std.cfg to find the file): cppcheck-gui --data-dir=/usr/share/cppcheck/cfg/ then cppcheck-gui immediatelly exits without error and without opening a window. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.6 APT prefers stable APT policy: (990, 'stable'), (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'testing-debug'), (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-debug'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental-debug'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386, x32 Kernel: Linux 4.18.20-041820-generic (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=C (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/bash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages cppcheck-gui depends on: ii libc6 2.27-8 ii libgcc1 1:8.2.0-10 ii libgl1 1.1.0-1 ii libgl1-mesa-glx 18.2.5-3 ii libpcre3 2:8.39-3 ii libqt5core5a 5.11.2+dfsg-4 ii libqt5gui5 5.11.2+dfsg-7 ii libqt5printsupport5 5.11.2+dfsg-7 ii libqt5widgets5 5.11.2+dfsg-7 ii libstdc++6 8.2.0-10 ii libtinyxml2-4 4.0.1-1 cppcheck-gui recommends no packages. cppcheck-gui suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
