Package: steam Version: 1.0.0.56-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I seem to be missing a .desktop file to launch steam. I can run it from the command line (/usr/games/steam is in $PATH), but there is no sign of a .desktop file, so I can't find it in gnome anywhere. This seems to be a significant oversight? I have .desktop files for games installed through steam, but none for steam itself. -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (499, 'testing'), (399, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages steam depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.69 ii libc6 2.28-4 ii libgl1-mesa-dri 18.2.8-2 ii libgl1-mesa-glx 18.2.8-2 ii libgpg-error0 1.33-3 ii libstdc++6 8.2.0-13 ii libtxc-dxtn0 1.0.1-dmo3 ii libudev1 240-2 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.7-1 ii libxinerama1 2:1.1.4-1 ii steam-devices 1.0.0.56-2 ii xz-utils 5.2.2-1.3 Versions of packages steam recommends: ii ca-certificates 20180409 ii fontconfig 2.13.1-2 ii fonts-liberation 1:1.07.4-9 ii gnome-terminal [x-terminal-emulator] 3.30.2-2 ii libxss1 1:1.2.3-1 ii mesa-vulkan-drivers 18.2.8-2 ii xterm [x-terminal-emulator] 341-1 Versions of packages steam suggests: ii nvidia-driver-libs-i386 410.78-2 ii nvidia-vulkan-icd 410.78-2 -- debconf information: steam/purge: * steam/question: I AGREE * steam/license:
