Package: gpg Version: 2.2.12-1 Severity: normal Tags: upstream Dear Maintainer,
'man gpg' shows: GPG_AGENT_INFO This variable is obsolete; it was used by GnuPG versions before 2.1. but we find $ echo $GPG_AGENT_INFO /run/user/1000/gnupg/S.gpg-agent:0:1 $ gpg --version gpg (GnuPG) 2.2.12 My gpg.conf file includes no customization beyond setting the default key. Perhaps the man page is simply incorrect, but it would be odd if (for once) the man page describes a newer version of the application than Debian is shipping. Thanks for volunteering for Debian, and for such an important package. -- Alison Chaiken -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (700, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE= (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages gpg depends on: ii gpgconf 2.2.12-1 ii libassuan0 2.5.2-1 ii libbz2-1.0 1.0.6-9 ii libc6 2.28-2 ii libgcrypt20 1.8.4-4 ii libgpg-error0 1.33-3 ii libreadline7 7.0-5 ii libsqlite3-0 3.26.0-3 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.11.dfsg-1 Versions of packages gpg recommends: ii gnupg 2.2.12-1 gpg suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
