Hello, systemd-timesyncd.service in previous releases used DynamicUser=true. This will create a symlink /var/lib/systemd/timesync pointing at ../private/systemd/timesync and make sure it is properly owned by systemd-timesync:systemd-timesync
This was reverted upstream in https://github.com/systemd/systemd/commit/162e0b75f9c9f698f94c228c2f9148120f03e9a2 Am 04.01.19 um 07:27 schrieb Patrick Häcker: > So the open of /var/lib/systemd/timesync in timesyncd.c, line 37, fails. Can you post the output of ls -ld /var/lib/systemd/timesync ls -la /var/lib/private/systemd/ -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
