Thanks for the suggestion (complete with patch), and sorry for not
replying earlier!  I'm happy to open this aspect of the *Dictionary*
buffer's appearance up to customization, but will defer to upstream on
the actual default appearance.  To that end, I turned your patch into a
formal GitHub pull request:
