In particular: To try it: $ pactl load-module module-equalizer-sink $ pactl load-module module-dbus-protocol $ qpaeq To get qpaeq to work without the above after a restart: $ echo "load-module module-equalizer-sink" >> /etc/pulse/default.pa $ echo "load-module module-dbus-protocol" >> /etc/pulse/default.pa It would also be nice if there were a qpaeq.desktop file.
