I'm not the reporter of this bug, but I think I've reported something similar somewhere (maybe on bugs.kde.org) too.
How to reproduce (works with KNode and Kontact) - Open a newsgroup - Compose a new message for this newsgroup - click the spell check-icon - select a different language - look what happens ;) => KNode want to restart, but crashes instead I've just reproduced it a few minutes ago with the latest version from sid.
