First of all, great to hear from you. Life is certainly more important than anything happening in Debian! I hope all is fine on that front, and if you ever need a shoulder or an ear from a stranger then please don't hesitate to grab hold of me privately. Seriously, you are welcome, day and night - my contact info is below if needed! As for package maintenance, my preference would be that I add myself as Uploader and we maintain the package in collaboration - meaning we each work on it as much as we like and find time for (don't stress!), and nudge the other when/if needing a review or an upload. Personally I find this better than sponsoring, and hope you agree. Concretely, would you like to have a go at preparing a package release now, or do you prefer that I do that?
