The lepton-eda package is a fork of geda-gaf, and is what I'm personally using and focusing my package maintenance efforts on now.
A patch for guile-2.2 support provided by lepton-eda upstream is now part of the Debian package version 1.9.7-2. That patch may illuminate the changes required to update geda-gaf if someone is motivated to spend the time. See debian/patches/guile-2.2.patch in the lepton-eda source package. Regards, Bdale
