OpenTimestamps aims to be a standard format for blockchain timestamping. The format is flexible enough to be vendor and blockchain independent. A separate command line client "opentimestamps-client" is available. --- All dependencies for this library are met in sid. I am fairly fluent in Python and have packaged a few Python modules for private use. I think I can maintain this on my own, however I am open to co-maintainership.
