Package: prometheus-node-exporter Version: 0.17.0+ds-3 Severity: normal We discovered that for hosts with ipmitool installed that the ipmitool text collector would emit an error and not populate the ipmi metrics file. This appears to be due the "-n" flag in the shebang line being incompatible with mawk in the upstream "text_collector_examples/ipmitool" script. A PR with upstream is pending: https://github.com/prometheus/node_exporter/pull/1269
If the patch is not accepted upstream, it seems a good candidate for Debian inclusion as the ipmitool collector is broken and unusable without manually modifying the script.
