Package: git-remote-bzr Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
bzr has long been dormant upstream. It will be replaced in Debian (in buster+1) with Breezy (www.breezy-vcs.org), which is actively maintained and has a Python 3 port. Breezy has a command-line that is backwards compatible with Bazaar. Please consider porting git-remote-bzr to the 'breezy' Python module instead of using Bazaar's 'bzrlib'. Most of the porting process should be a matter of running s/bzrlib/breezy/ on your code. -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages git-remote-bzr depends on: ii git 1:2.20.1-2 ii python 2.7.15-4 ii python-bzrlib 2.7.0+bzr6622-15 git-remote-bzr recommends no packages.
