That must be a regression in one of the tex (sid) packages. I can build the pdf documentation just fine from my jessie Debian system: https://sourceforge.net/projects/gdcm/files/gdcm%202.x/GDCM%202.8.9/gdcm-2.8.9.pdf I'll check pdf build ASAP. -M
