Package: manpages-dev Version: 4.16-1 Severity: minor Dear Maintainer,
I am not sure what the policy is regarding types and include files for manpages, but it seems most manpages make sure the mentioned #include's provide all the types required by the declaration (so you can declare correctly-typed variables for arguments and return values). I found that both the readahead manpage and the sync_file_range manpage don't fall in this pattern, which might be a bug, or maybe the #include's are not meant to provide all types. I.e., both manpages mention <fcntl.h>, but miss e.g. <sys/types.h>, which is needed for the ssize_t type (and maybe others). I found out only because my configure tests started to fail at some point :) If this is considered a bug, then it might affect other, similar, manpages, but I haven't checked any others.
