Bug#922618: Any plan to package bird 2.0 as a separate package?

Ondřej,

What is your plan for uploading the bird2 package?  I am currently
looking at upgrading some hosts running old releases of bird and am
debating whether I should make the effort to go all the way to bird2
or not.
