Package: debian-i18n Severity: normal Tags: l10n Dear Maintainer,
*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** * What led up to the situation? Changing configuration (combination of some) in Language, Formats and Input Sources. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? Changing standard values of above settings to: Language=English Formats=Meixco Input Sources=Portuguese * What was the outcome of this action? In the first login to Debian (every time I start the computer) NumLock behavior works well, I type my password which is a number of 6 characters and I can log in to Debian but after this initial windows where Debian asks for my password, the NumLock function cease to work, everytime the computer goes to a locked screen where a I need to put again my password I can only use the number keys that are above the starndard letter keys, if I want to use the NumPad keys I need to press the Shift key and hold it while I type my password using this pad, otherwise, it does not work. * What outcome did you expect instead? Normal behaviour, NumLock function of the keyboard should always be the same regardless the value selected in Language, Formats or Input Sources. *** End of the template - remove these template lines *** -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.8 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-8-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8)
