Thank you for letting me know about those other bug reports. For what it's worth, I am not using lightdm or light-locker. And this bug's severity was marked as grave based on the questions Debian reportbug asked me. The issue (whichever package it exists in) causes data loss, which qualifies as 'grave' according to the reportbug criteria.
