Package: util-linux Version: 2.33.1-0.1 Severity: normal Tags: patch a11y Dear Maintainer,
the rename.ul, which is into the package, is not listed among the possible alternatives for the "rename" command, like - for example - prename or file-rename. Thus the command is reacheable only by calling it with its real name (rename.ul) rather than calling it through the "rename" command. The situation could be solved by adding the following line in the script called during the configuration step: update-alternatives --install /usr/bin/rename rename /usr/bin/rename.ul 100 \ --slave /usr/share/man/man1/rename.1.gz rename.1.gz /usr/share/man/man1/rename.ul.1.gz Greetings, P.
