Package: vlc Version: 0.8.4.debian-2+b1 Severity: normal
I found this Problem also in totem (using gstreamer) and mplayer and it looks completely alike. I checked an x86 computer and the problem does not appear there. That is why I assume it is an big endian problem. Any AVC1 Film shows this behaviour. I put up a screenshot of the http://www.turbogears.com/docs/wiki20/20MinuteWiki.mov which shows the problem: http://parkautomat.net/debian/20minWiki.png Another file can be found here: http://213.200.64.229/tagesschau/mp3/podcast/TV-20060321-2027-4301.h264.mp4 Black squares whereever content is changing. Please reassign, this bug is actually in a dynamicly linked library. I am happy to help further to fix this bug.
