I think the following should work to force USB: console-tools/archs="USB keyboard" To select an individual keyboard: console-keymaps-usb/keymap=<your keymap> However, note that AFAIK "mac-usb-us" is not really an USB keymap but is an AT keymap... Also note there is a maximum to the number of parameters that can be passed from the boot prompt (see the installation manual for details).
