Package: gnucash Version: 1:3.4-1+b10 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
When I run gnucash for the first time (or from a user profile that has not used GnuCash successfully before), I get as far as the "Welcome to GnuCash!" dialog. When I select the "Create a new set of accounts" checkbox and click the "ok" button, the window goes away, and the application terminates without putting up any more windows. If I click "cancel", GnuCash seems to run okay, and that user never sees the "Welcome to GnuCash!" dialog again. I tried this by typing "gnucash" in an xterm window -- here is the output in xterm: me@mycomputer:~$ gnucash & [2] 18971 me@mycomputer:~$ Found Finance::Quote version 1.47 terminate called without an active exception [2]+ Aborted gnucash I think my next troubleshooting idea is to install GnuCash on another computer (probably running different library/kernel versions) and see if I have the same problem there. But I would be interested in other troubleshooting ideas.
