Hello Thorsten, it seems the problem raises while building the package; it is not related to the new installer (as I was initially thinking).
In fact, while building the package, make displays a notice about a circular dependency of debian/libpaper1.config and build-arch. Indeed, make is right. I am going to check debian/rules file in order to fix the problem. Thank you, Giuseppe
