While writing the e-mail I sent a few minutes ago, I lost track of the
actual concrete suggestion, which was calling baredebian+git just
baredebian. Sorry about that.
I no longer think that renaming is needed. I'd like to suggest adding
baredebian+git as an alias for baredebian, and writing it immediately
after in the docs, i.e.
--quilt=baredebian (or its alias --quilt=baredebian+git) specifies
that ...
I think that this makes it easier to understand the difference between
the two options, but also it enhances the strength of the encouragement
to use baredebian+git over baredebian+tarball.
