This package still has some reverse dependencies, which I filed bugs against earlier this year. At the recommendation of the release team, I bumped up the severity of these bugs to serious (those bugs block this removal bug).
My goal is to remove this package from both unstable and testing. I haven't gotten any responses at all from the maintainers of the reverse dependencies. It's hard to tell whether those packages are even being maintained any more. KEN -- Kenneth J. Pronovici <prono...@debian.org>
