This is one of 20+ packages in the archive that still depend on Epydoc. I have filed a bug with ftp.debian.org to have epydoc removed from unstable. Besides its lack of support for Python 3, epydoc has been completely unsupported upstream for close to a decade. It really should have been removed from the archive years ago. I apologize for the late notice on this. I filed bugs against all of the dependencies I could find over 18 months ago, but the FTP Master list included some additional packages. If I don't hear back from you, I will NMU a version of your package that removes the build dependency. I will accomplish this by simply not building the API documentation. If you don't want me to do this, please reply and let me know how you want me to proceed. Thanks, KEN
