Just wonder if anyone was able to reproduce this. This patch is adding good
functionality (locking the screen before suspend) so reverting is not the
correct solution. Before I start investigating this, I would like to know if it
works correctly for some people. I have a few friends that run Debian with Mate
and everyone that I talked to says it regressed for them. Can anyone verify
that this patch is working correctly for them and not triggering an inhibitor
timeout? If the new version of this package works correctly for you, I would
like to try to reason what is different about our environments. I guess the
easiest way to know is to click suspend from the shutdown dialog and see if
your machine takes a bit of time to suspend. You will also be able to use the
machine during the 5 second delay before suspend.
