Hi, I get this problem also.
What is happening on first reboot is this: I log into KDE and the KNemo icon appears in the top-left corner of the screen (not in the system tray). The icon is stuck above everything else (i.e., it obstructs whatever is supposed to be in that corner and cannot be moved out of the way). There is a _space_ for knemo in the system tray, i.e., a 22x22 gap where it is presumably supposed to be sitting. It's just that the knemo widget doesn't get put there.
