Hmm, checked a standard setup + hostname in Daemon set to "localhost", and this worked fine. Also, there does not seem to be a stupid mistake in the source not noticed until now (i.e., it uses the hostname set in Daemon for the internal remote). > Also, on further investigation, it appears that > "a23-195-69-106.deploy.static.akamaitechnologies.com" is actually the > FQDN of the host my ISP's broken DNS redirects me to for nonexistent > host names :( , rather than the external IP address of the NAT > router. a23-195-69-106.deploy.static.akamaitechnologies.com really should not show up. Sure you set the hostname to "localhost" in the Daemon instance (i.e., not via --httpd-bind in the command line)? Fwiw, I did all the tests with 1.0.x. I now see that you are testing 1.1.x ;) -- but the same might still apply. Hth, S
