I just encountered this issue as well. It is being tracked by XFCE at https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14577 It may be a regression of https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/issues/1280 that occurred in GTK sometime between 3.22.30 and 3.24.8. Cheers, Kevin
