Dear Maintainer, I guess this issue caused also gegl not transitioning to testing and therefore another issue within the package gimp e.g. bug #939768 and a few more.
I tried to reproduce it in a qemu VM for mips64el and hit the same issue. Running just the mentioned test it returns a timeout message. Therefore I guess that this test has just a too short timeout. Increasing it from 3 to 40 seconds make it succeed also in my (very slow) VM.
