Greetings, I worked through the problem here and submitted the following patch to the upstream developers of the screen locker:
https://phabricator.kde.org/D23849 The patch was accepted by the team, and the screen locker is now fixed for the next version. Would it be possible to have this upstream commit cherry picked and applied to this Debian package for an immediate fix? -- Jason Franklin
