Package: git
Version: 1:2.23.0-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

since the last KDE plasma update git push fails with an error

git: fatal: could not read Password for <url>: Permission denied

When working locally I can use

export GIT_ASKPASS=`which ksshaskpass`

as a workaround.

But that does not help if I am working via SSH.

How can I simply enter the password on the console?

Best regards

Heinrich Schuchardt
