pam-dbus has been effectively orphaned for years and its maintainer is ok with its removal. See https://bugs.debian.org/885399 and https://bugs.debian.org/885399 (message 10). It has no reverse dependencies and is blocking the removal of python-notify and pygtk. Please remove pam-dbus from Debian. Thanks, Jeremy Bicha
