Dear maintainers, With a recent upload of twolame the autopkgtest of ffmpeg fails in testing when that autopkgtest is run with the binary packages of twolame from unstable. It passes when run with only packages from testing. In tabular form: pass fail twolame from testing 0.4.0-2 ffmpeg from testing 7:4.2.1-1 all others from testing from testing I copied some of the output at the bottom of this report. Currently this regression is blocking the migration of twolame to testing [1]. Due to the nature of this issue, I filed this bug report against both packages. Can you please investigate the situation and reassign the bug to the right package? More information about this bug and the reason for filing it can be found on https://wiki.debian.org/ContinuousIntegration/RegressionEmailInformation Paul [1] https://qa.debian.org/excuses.php?package=twolame https://ci.debian.net/data/autopkgtest/testing/amd64/f/ffmpeg/3300508/log.gz Test 95: trying muxer 'asf' with 'a' encoder 'libtwolame' for codec 'mp2' ffmpeg -f lavfi -i sine=d=0.1 -strict -2 -c:a libtwolame -f asf /tmp/autopkgtest-lxc.m3tk853a/downtmp/autopkgtest_tmp/test/libtwolame.asf -y -hide_banner -nostdin Input #0, lavfi, from 'sine=d=0.1': Duration: N/A, start: 0.000000, bitrate: 705 kb/s Stream #0:0: Audio: pcm_s16le, 44100 Hz, mono, s16, 705 kb/s Stream mapping: Stream #0:0 -> #0:0 (pcm_s16le (native) -> mp2 (libtwolame)) twolame_init_params(): 384kbps is an invalid bitrate for mono encoding.
