Package: rss2email Severity: important
Hello Etienne I intend to NMU, co-maintain, or salvage rss2email if necessary. My intention is at least to fix #935800 so it can enter testing again, #944358 which is about an active upstream of rss2email and general package maintenance (standards version, source in salsa, team maintenance, etc) rss2email is eligible to be salvaged due: - no updates in 2 years besides my NMU - 1:3.9-4.1 (NMU) was not acknowledged - #935800 is already open for 4 months - #944358 is already open for a month (I doesn't meet the criteria for the salvage process but helps me think I'm right choosing https://github.com/rss2email/rss2email as new upstream) if you are there and want to keep maintaining rss2email let me know, I'll be happy to help. Regardless of your response, thanks for your work on rss2email, it served me very well for years! :) cheers -- System Information: Debian Release: 10.2 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-6-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US.UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US.UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages rss2email depends on: ii python3 3.7.3-1 pn python3-feedparser <none> pn python3-html2text <none> Versions of packages rss2email recommends: ii python3-bs4 4.7.1-1 Versions of packages rss2email suggests: pn esmtp <none>
